After receiving the task from Dareel, head to the Oilwell Basin. If you have checked the Endemic Life Field Guide, you will learn that these creatures prefer hot environments like volcanic areas.
You can find Ember Rufflizard in Area 15 of Oilwell Basin at the lower levels of the Basin. In Area 15, these small creatures roam near lava and usually wander in a group of three. You can easily spot them with their neon green glow. You can also find some Ember Rufflizard around Area 8 of Oilwell Basin.
How To Capture Ember Rufflizard in Monster Hunter Wilds
Once you spot Ember Rufflizards in Oilwell Basin, approach them carefully. If necessary, use your Ghillie Mantle for a more stealthy approach. When you are close enough, shoot your capture nets to catch them. Since capture nets have a limited range, ensure you are at the optimal length for a perfect catch.
Since they travel in groups, you can also capture more of them to get extra Guild Points. After capturing an Ember Rufflizard, report back to Dareel to complete the Dareel’s Research Report (Cont.) quest and receive your rewards—ten Might Seeds and five Honey.
