MrBeast fan account “MrBeast Statistics” reported that the content creator is the fastest-growing YouTube channel for the fourth consecutive year. James Donaldson, aka MrBeast, gained over 100 million subscribers this year on his main channel.

The content creator runs multiple successful channels. He has several channels dedicated to React, philanthropy, and gaming content. There are official regional channels as well that dub popular videos for non-English speakers. At the time of writing, the main channel had over 340 million subscribers; it gained 248,000 subscribers on December 30, 2024.

The content creator responded to the report on X and had only one thing to say:

“Hype.”

MrBeast Crosses 500 Million Subscribers Across All Channels

In 2024, the total subscribers of all channels combined stood at 503.8 million. Donaldson also streams on Twitch and recently launched his reality show “Beast Games,” which airs on Prime Video.

His fan page posted on Twitter:

“For the 4th year in a row, MrBeast was the fastest-growing channel on all of YouTube! In 2023, he beat the competition easily, gaining 99.3M subscribers. In 2024, he’s outdone that, smashed the 100M ceiling, and set the new record for most subscribers gained in a year, with 115,966,562 subs gained in 2024!”

The YouTuber’s content saw significant growth in 2023 and 2024. Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie, was the biggest content creator on YouTube and was the first individual to reach 100 million subscribers. In July 2022, MrBeast achieved the same feat and climbed to the number one spot with over 340 million subscribers on his main channel.

Donaldson Addresses Private Jet Controversy

On December 30, 2024, MrBeast teased that one of his upcoming videos will feature a challenge with private jets. Two pilots will try to stay in a private jet for 100 days with unlimited fuel and supplies. If they complete all 100 days, they get to keep the jet.

The challenge raised some concerns about environmental impact. He responded to the concerns and clarified that the jet would not fly all 100 days. The YouTuber clarified:

“I see tweets asking how they’ll fly for 100 days, the flying is a choice! They can just stay in the airport and don’t have to fly anywhere it’s just an option to make it more fun. Also, we’re tracking the carbon emitted and gonna offset it at the end of the video.”

The upcoming challenge is still in production, and it will air sometime in 2025.
