MrBeast faces backlash after announcing a new video featuring a private jet and pilots; he has now responded to the criticism.
YouTube megastar and content creator Jimmy “MrBeast” recently appeared on the Beyond the Records podcast with Noah Lyles and Rai Benjamin. In the podcast, he discussed his upcoming video ideas. During the segment, MrBeast discussed one of the videos involving two pilots staying in an airplane for 100 days. Clips from the podcast went viral on X where users shared their opinions on Jimmy’s ideas. He responded to the comments on Dexerto’s X post stating:
“I see tweets asking how they’ll fly for 100 days, the flying is a choice! They can just stay in the airport and don’t have to fly anywhere it’s just an option to make it more fun. Also we’re tracking the carbon emitted and gonna offset it at the end of the video”
Jimmy’s idea was criticized on the platform citing the sustainability of such a challenge. Many users pointed out that the carbon emission would reverse all the efforts of his Team Trees initiative. On top of that, some users mentioned that the challenge will not be sustainable for the pilots. However, MrBeast has addressed all the concerns in his reply.
MrBeast’s recent production, the Beast Games has been a massive success. However, the show was under fire for issues during the production of the show. Some contestants came forward with allegations of misconduct. Several production crew members voiced allegations of mistreatment and harassment.
