Once you begin your journey in the NBA questline and play your first big game, you will receive a notification to meet the Agent, where you will discuss the Passion Project. Additionally, it runs somewhat parallel to the MyCareer mode. During the Merchandising Tier 6 quest, you need to complete your Passion Project and build a basketball anime in the game.

The first objective for the Passion Project is the club league, where you must arrive at Open Athletics. Once there, you will meet your old friend Colby and also take part in a game. However, the main problem with the Passion Project is that the quests are not linear, meaning they do not automatically run one after another.

To tackle this, you need to keep progressing throughout your career and play more games. That way, you will receive a notification about the next objective of the quest. You need to keep repeating this process until you recruit Tyrese Maxey and Karl-Anthony Towns for your anime.

Once they are both recruited, the final stretch of the Passion Project is over. However, if you are not receiving any notification about the project’s completion, try playing a few more games until you receive a video message from a journalist regarding it.

Additionally, keep playing a couple more NBA matches in the meantime. You will receive a total of 12,500 VC and a Red Carpet Interview as rewards for completing the project.
