In this guide, we shall go over how to beat Obsidrae, a boss in the pirates’ den level of Ninja Gaiden Ragebound.
Progressing through Act 2 of Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, you learn that the Spider Clan and Hayabusas had come together to seal the Demon Lord Jagazk. Now, he’s looking to conquer the mortal realm, and the only way to stop him is to seal him again. Sealing the Demon Lord requires you to obtain a powerful crystal, and your search for it leads you to an abandoned pirate’s den.
As you pass through the wreckage in the area and reach the end, you come face to face with Obsidrae. Obsidrae, the Demon Lord’s underling, is here for the crystal. The only way to acquire the crystal is to beat her, and boy, is that task far from easy. The demon has attacks that are difficult to read, and the claustrophobic arena only makes things worse. How To Beat Obsidrae in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound

You can easily beat Obsidrae if you know which attacks to look for. Below, we’ve listed all the attacks the boss uses:
- Triple Demon Eggs: Obsidrae shoots out three demon eggs from her belly. These eggs bounce around the arena. The third egg always has a Hypercharge aura, so that’s the one you need to hit. Hit the charged egg and use Hypercharge to attack and stun the boss.
- Claw Swipe: Obsidrae will raise her arm and swipe away with her claw. Fall back to avoid this attack. The claw leaves a mark in the air for a few seconds. You’ll take damage if you touch this mark, so stay away until it disappears.
- Underground Tentacle: Obsidrae summons a tentacle from the ground that sweeps the arena. You’ll see the ground swell at the spot where the tentacle will burst from. Run away and climb the wall on the edge to avoid this attack.
