Getting the Orgma Infinium in Oblivion Remastered is a tricky task. This particular artifact is tied to Hermaeus Mora. He is the Daedric Prince of knowledge and memory. To get the mentioned artifact, players will have to abide by his rules and hunt and kill one individual from all ten in-game races to trap their souls in the soul gem. Players who refrain from killing innocents will have no choice but to cross the line, since it is a necessity for this quest. Here’s a complete walkthrough.
How To Complete The Hermaeus Mora Quest and Get The Oghma Infinium in Oblivion Remastered
Players will first need to find the Shrine of Hermaeus Mora to complete this quest. It is situated in the Jerall Mountains area, northwest of the Imperial City. Additionally, it is also the last shrine that you will need to visit to get the artifact you want. Because of that, you must meet the following requirements first.
- Your character level should be 20 or above.
- Must complete all 14 other Daedric Prince Shrines first.
- Must complete the Blood of Daedra quest and give one of the artifacts to Martin.
Once you have made sure that you meet all of the conditions mentioned above, you can speak to Hermaeus Mora and start the quest. The Daedric Prince will give you the soul gem and the soul trap spell. Then he will tell you to go and trap souls from ten different species in Oblivion Remastered. Remember to cast the spell before killing your enemies to trap their souls. It won’t work otherwise.
Now, hunting down ten different species in the massive world of Cryodiil won’t be easy. Normally, players will have to travel around the map, looking for each individual. However, to make things more convenient for you, we will reveal a better way to do it.
Where To Find All Ten Species
The easiest way to complete your objective is to go to the Peryite’s Shrine. It will be southwest of the Imperial City. If you have the Spellbreak shield, then you should already be familiar with this shrine. After arriving at this location, you will see followers from all ten races present at the shrine. So, simply cast the Soul Trap spell on them and then kill them. Once you have obtained the souls from their corpses, go back to Hermaeus Mora.
The Daedric Prince will give you the Oghma Infinium artifact after receiving the souls. Lastly, you can then open your inventory and choose from the different paths available. Every skill and attribute will increase by 10 points in whichever path you choose.
