Struggling to acquire Sacred Flowers to make offerings at Umbraan Shrines? Discover how to effectively obtain the Sacred Flowers in Palia.
Palia’s first free expansion Elderwood introduces a load of new in-game content featuring a whole new map. The expansion also brought an offering mechanism, which requires players to collect rare and valuable Sacred Flowers to activate Umbraan Shrines and make offerings. However, finding the Sacred Flowers requires effort, as they are extremely rare resources. This guide explains finding and using Sacred Flowers in Palia’s Elderwood expansion.

Where To Find Sacred Flowers in Palia
Despite their rarity, there are quite a few ways to obtain the Sacred Flowers.
- You can purchase the Sacred Flowers from Tamala’s Potion Shop, located at the Central Stables. It costs 350 Infected Essence. Since the item is meant specifically for making offerings at the Shrines, you cannot sell them in return.
- You can obtain it by completing various main story, guide, and discovery quests. Quests such as The Nature of Shadows and Something Wicked reward you with a Sacred Flower.
- Additionally, some Sacred Flowers are scattered throughout the various regions of Elderwood. You can find them at the following locations:
- Two Sacred Flowers at the De Mer Dock area.
- On top of a platform west of the Fallen Aqueduct
- At the pond to the west of Lilac Cavern.
- Found near Tamala’s Potion Shop at the Central Stables.
- You can also find Sacred Flowers by hunting Waveback Ogopuus and Piksii Shmoles, found in Okanaa Bog and Red Blossom Cave areas, respectively.

How To Use Sacred Flowers in Palia
The Sacred Flowers are used to activate the Umbraan Shrines and make offerings. There are a total of 15 Umbraan Shrines scattered across the Elderwood. While most Umbraan Shrines require one Sacred Flower, some require two to make the offering. Upon offering the Sacred Flowers, you will receive either the Artifact Mystery Bag or the Starstone Mystery Bag. Activating all 15 Umbraan Shrines completes the Paying Respects achievement and rewards you with a Finishing Runestone and 30 Renown.
