Palworld’s biggest update yet, the Palworld Feybreak DLC, was announced during the Game Awards 2024, and fans have been waiting in excitement. The Feybreak DLC is scheduled to release on December 23, 2024, and is bringing with it a plethora of content.
The new content included the highly anticipated new Pals that accompany you, new sets of weapons, a brand-new map, and more. This is the biggest pile of content the game has received so far, spelling good things for Palworld players and fans heading into 2025. In this article, we shall go over everything we know so far about Palworld’s upcoming DLC, Palworld Feybreak.
All We Know About Palworld Feybreak DLC
The first thing that we know about the DLC is that it is right around the corner. The DLC’s announcement trailer, aired at the Game Awards 2024, confirmed the update’s release date to be December 23, 2024.
The New Map
In addition to the release date, we also got a brief look at the Palworld Feybreak DLC’s new map and locations. Footage in the trailer showed vibrant yellow and crimson fields, grassy landscapes, and more. Making things even more exciting, the developers then chimed in to reveal that the new map would be six times the size of the map of Sakurajim, which we got in the game’s last update.
More Pals
As expected, the Palworld Feybreak DLC will also be adding in new Pals. This was also confirmed through the trailer, which gave us brief glimpses of Pals that we have never seen before. The trailer and subsequent promotional material gave us a look at the Pals coming in the expansion.
These include a shiny black dragon with blue wings and a horn on its head (shown at the start of the trailer), a blue-ish lion-humanoid (oddly resembling Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda), a flying rabbit-like creature, a deer-like creature with golden horns, a black raccoon-like creature, and much more.
We do not have the names of these Pals yet, and we do not know if this is the final roster of Pals being added to the update. There could be additions that are not shown in the trailer.
New Weapons
The trailer also gave us a brief look at some of the new weapons and armor that will be making their debut in the Feybreak DLC. In the trailer, we see the character use rifles, machine guns, and some futuristic laser weapon. The character is also seen wearing a Robocop-ish armor.
