At its core, PEAK is a co-op game about climbing a mountain. The game strands you on an island where the only hope of rescue is to reach the summit of the mountain at the center. While the game has co-op functions, you can also play on your own.

How To Find the Scoutmaster in PEAK
The Scoutmaster is a tall, emaciated, green man wearing a straw hat. Despite his unique appearance, he is quite elusive. He can be found in different ways based on your playstyle. Depending on whether you are playing alone or with friends, the Scoutmaster can be found in two ways.
If you are playing with friends, finding the Scoutmaster is not too difficult. Run away/ahead of the group and reach the peak on your own, and then you will break one of the rules of climbing. As a result, the Scoutmaster will attack you.
As you can tell, the easiest way of summoning the Scoutmaster is to invite some friends to stay in one place while you climb the peak on your own. The Scoutmaster will then attack you soon enough.
However, if you are playing alone, then it becomes significantly more difficult to find the Scoutmaster. In singleplayer, he can only be summoned through the Scoutmaster’s Bugle. This item is incredibly rare and has a very low spawn rate. Using it will summon the Scoutmaster, who will promptly attack you with all his might.
How To Get the Mentorship Badge in PEAK
Once you have found the Scoutmaster, getting the Mentorship Badge is easy. Let him pick you up and throw you, and you will unlock the badge. This is pretty much the only reason you would want to encounter the Scoutmaster, as he cannot currently be defeated in any way.
Although, according to some players, you do not need to be thrown. Simply playing the Bugle while he is near you can also trigger this achievement.
