Fletchinder is a Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon X and Y. On December 2, 2020, Fletchinder made its way into Pokemon GO as a part of the Kalos event celebration. Now, if you want to add this Pokemon to your collection, this is the absolute right time as the base form of Fletchinder, Fletchling, will be appearing in Pokemon GO during their Spring into Spring event.

How To Get Fletchinder in Pokemon GO
Wild Encounters
During the Spring into Spring event, from April 9 at 10:00 a.m. to April 14, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Fletchling will appear frequently. Since Fletchinder does not typically appear in the wild, catching multiple Fletchling is the easiest way to get one. Stock up on Pinap Berries to collect extra Candy, which will speed up the evolution process.

Raid Battles & Research Task Rewards
Fletchinder occasionally appears in 3-star raids. If it is included in the raid pool during the event, using Rock-type Pokemon such as Rampardos or Rhyperior will help defeat it quickly. Additionally, event-themed Field Research tasks might reward encounters with Fletchling, allowing another way to gather Candy for evolution.
Evolving Fletchling
Evolving Fletchling is the most reliable way to obtain Fletchinder. You need 25 Fletchling Candy for this evolution. If you aim to get Talonflame, you will need an additional 100 Candy. Since Fletchling will appear more frequently during the event, now is a great time to catch as many as possible. Transferring extra Fletchling will also grant additional Candy.
Trading
If you have a friend who already owns a Fletchinder, trading is another option. Trading requires Stardust, with the cost varying based on friendship level. This method can be helpful if you struggle to collect enough Candy or find a suitable wild encounter.
Can Fletchinder Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
During the Spring into Spring event, Shiny Fletchling will have an increased spawn rate, making it an excellent opportunity to hunt for one. If you evolve a Shiny Fletchling, it will retain its shiny form as a Fletchinder and later as a Talonflame.

Best Strategy for Obtaining Fletchinder
