Shellos has two forms in Pokemon GO. East Sea and West Sea Shellos evolve into their own Gastrodon forms. The Stunning Styles event starts on April 3, 2025, at 10 am local time. It ends on April 7, 2025, at 8 am local time. This event gives many chances to catch both forms.

How To Get East Sea and West Sea Shellos in Pokemon GO?

Wild Encounters

East Sea Shellos appears in the Eastern Hemisphere. This includes Asia, parts of Europe, and Australia. West Sea Shellos spawns in the Western Hemisphere. This covers the Americas and parts of Africa. Both forms stay in their region like other location-based Pokemon.

Raid Battles

The Stunning Styles event brings one-star Raids with East Sea and West Sea Shellos. Each form stays in its own hemisphere. These Pokemon belong to the Water type. Electric- and Grass-type moves work well against them. Pokemon with the same type as these moves deal extra damage.

Hatching from Eggs

Events in Pokemon GO sometimes add Shellos to the Egg pool. Both forms hatch from 7 km Eggs during some events. These Eggs come from Gifts sent by in-game friends. Check event details before using incubators.

Research Tasks

Players can get Shellos from Field Research and Timed Research tasks. The Stunning Styles event gives encounters with both forms. A paid Timed Research option costs $2.00 or the same in local currency. This increases the chance of catching them.

Trading with Friends

Trading is another way to get Shellos. If one form does not spawn in your area, a friend may have it. Trading region-exclusive Pokemon uses a lot of Stardust. The cost is lower if the Pokemon is already in the Pokedex.
