Pokemon Legends Z-A’s Lumiose City is one of the most exciting cities we’ve seen in the series, and we’re certainly not the only ones who hold this opinion. Trale, an NPC you meet during the Finding a Place For Heliolisk side quest, thinks the same and is eagerly looking for a place to stay. Of course, his Pokemon, Heliolisk, also seems to agree.
In the Finding a Place For Heliolisk side quest, you have to help this master and Pokemon duo find the place they desperately seek. They’re picky with what they want, however, making the search very difficult. Well, our guide is here to simplify the search and walk you through the quest.

How To Finish Finding a Place For Heliolisk in Pokemon Legends Z-A

You begin this quest by heading to the quest objective marker near Cafe Soleil in South Boulevard. You unlock this quest by completing Main Mission 31: A Summons from Vinnie. Once that’s done, head over to Cafe Soleil and you’ll spot an NPC sitting on a table with a Heliolisk.
Walk up to the NPC, Trale, and talk to him. He will then tell you how difficult it is to find a place in Lumiose City, and will then rant about the type of place he wishes to own. The place he longs for must meet the following criteria:
- The place must be in front of Prism Tower.
- It must be along the canal.
- It must have a rooftop space with tables and umbrellas.
- The place must be close to a Pokemon Center.
- It must be close to a cafe, too.
Your goal, now, is to find a place that matches the description of what Trale is looking for. The points he mentioned are all the clues you have to go on. There is a building that meets all the criteria, and is right in front of the tower in Magenta Sector 1.
Fast-travel to Cafe Gallant and head east. The building is the first one you see on the left while walking east. This building has a ladder on its side. Climb the ladder and head to the roof. You’ll find the tables and umbrellas all set up. A cutscene will then play out, where Trale and his Heliolisk will appear, after which the quest will end.
