Ready or Not is a unique tactical shooter that manages to perfectly nail the balance between a realistic shooting title and a fun-to-play multiplayer game. There are multiple game modes available in the game. Because every mode is different from the other, it is almost guaranteed that you will find at least one that you will spend hundreds of hours in.

There are five major game modes available. These are listed below:

Active Shooter

This is one of the most difficult game modes, all thanks to the ticking clock. Since you have to beat the match under a specified time, the pressure can be a little overwhelming for beginners. Moreover, this mode is a little too difficult as well. There are multiple shooters freely roaming around the map, killing any civilians who cross their path. This is why you need to act fast and eliminate all the criminals as soon as possible. At the same time, you need to play it safe to ensure you don’t put yourself or your team in any danger.

Bomb Threat

These quests are some of the most fun ones in Ready or Not. Even though they are a little tricky, as you need to defuse a ticking bomb, it is actually the essence of a game like Ready or Not. As a SWAT team, you and your friends, or your AI teammates, have to look for a bomb that will explode after the time runs out. At the same time, you have to get rid of any criminals in sight and ensure no civilians get hurt as well.

Securing a Perimeter

This is the first game mode that you will encounter when you start playing Ready or Not. You have to enter a room or a building with shooters inside, holding hostages at gunpoint. You and your crew have to make sure you eliminate or arrest these suspects. At the same time, the less damage you deal to victims, the better rank you will be able to achieve.

Raid

In this mode, you can finally enter the building guns blazing. You have to eliminate the criminals on the map without taking much damage. This is the perfect mode to try if you are looking for an FPS experience. Because all of the other modes will require you to think like a SWAT officer.

Hostage Rescue

This is, without any doubt, the best game mode available in Ready or Not. As the name suggests, the primary focus is to rescue a hostage or multiple hostages who have been assaulted and/or captured by hostiles. Obviously, you have to make sure none of the hostages get hurt by any means and take down the bad guys as efficiently as possible.
