What’s better than winning a match in Rematch, you may ask? To be the main reason behind your team winning the match. Scoring goals has its own merits in the game. Not only do you help your team stand a chance against the opposition, but you also earn the trust of your teammates. But the more the game goes on, the more the opponents will be able to read your moves. But that can be avoided by taking a slightly different approach in your game.

In this article, we will be looking at all the best trick shots to help improve your game.

Using Walls in Rematch

Wall shots are the perfect way to leave the goalkeeper bamboozled and score a goal. When performing a wall shot, it acts as a fake hit. The goalkeeper, in haste, may dive in the direction of the shot, unavoidably missing and leaving the post all open. This is the perfect opportunity for you to make the most of the situation and score a blazer.

To perform a wall shot, simply aim the ball towards the wall right on top of the goalpost. Make sure it is aimed in such a way that you can receive the ball back. Once the ball is at the right distance, you should see a crosshair appear. Now take the shot, this time aiming anywhere inside the goal.

Curve Shots in Rematch

Curve shots are another great way to perplex the goalkeeper into thinking he knows where the ball is going. However, they will merely be under that illusion. The curve shot helps swing the ball, making it harder to perceive the outcome of the shot. What makes it more confusing is the fact that the opponent would not be able to distinguish between a normal and a curved shot.

You have the option to curve the shot in any direction you wish, be it left, right, up, or down. With the help of the Magnus effect, there is a slight moment in time before your player’s foot connects with the ball. During this brief time, you can quickly move your left analog stick or your mouse. This will add a spin to the ball from the initial point of contact to the readjusted position.

Header Shots in Rematch

Headers are not the most-used shot in Rematch. The reason behind it is not the effectiveness but the difficulty in trying to connect and land the perfect shot. If connected correctly, the power, angle and timing help sail the ball seamlessly into the goalpost.

To perform the header goal, there is a designated button. It is ‘V’ on keyboard, ‘Triangle’ on PlayStation and ‘Y’ on Xbox. Once you get a lob pass towards you, hold the button as per your platform. Once the ball is in control, release the button to shoot a graceful goal.

Bicycle Shot in Rematch

The Bicycle shot, more than anything, is a cool and stylish way to score a goal. But as cool as it is, the timing has to be impeccable. The shot involves you doing a backflip in the air. In this version, though, your legs will have a bit of a crisscross action going on, with one leg balancing you mid-air and the other landing a devastatingly beautiful over-the-head shot right in the goal.

To perform this shot, either do a wall assist for yourself or request a lob pass from your teammate. For this kick, you cannot be facing the goal, but rather the opposite side. Once you see the ball at the right distance, a crosshair becomes visible, indicating the shot can be taken. Now perform the kick with the shoot button, and voila.
