Build an Island has just received a major update that introduced a new animal area. You can head to the new location to obtain new in-game pets via the Eggs system. Exotic Eggs are available only via Robux, which is the premium currency for Roblox titles. Robux prices vary depending on your region, so check the prices for your country before purchasing Eggs.
Some of the rare pets have very low drop rates, so you might have to get dozens of Eggs before you obtain the pets you want. Pets are not available for trade, and you have to rely on your luck to get them. The Dachshund and Peacock are the hardest pets to get, as they each have a 1% drop rate.
How To Unlock the Pet System in Build an Island
You cannot obtain pets or hatch Eggs until you unlock the animal area. Building the animal area requires 5 Planks and 100 Wood, which are easy to farm just from exploration. You have to place the area where Merchant Mike is located, across the bridge, in the main hub area. Once you unlock the area, head to the wheat bushes to unlock the blocks. You can now hatch your Eggs in the blocks to get your new pets.
