In a post on X dated June 3, 2025, the content creator responded to a purported screenshot claiming that the popular event might be making a comeback. He also promised to break one of his on-stream rules if the rumors turn out to be true.

KreekCraft was replying to a post by @RBXevents_. The X user shared a screenshot of what appears to be an egg item from the hidden catalog on Roblox.com. @RBXevents_ and others are speculating that this might indicate a return of Egg Hunt. As one of the most popular Roblox creators, the rumors naturally caught KreekCraft’s attention.

The YouTuber reposted it on X and said he would drop an “f bomb” on stream if the rumors turn out to be true.

“If Roblox is actually doing an Egg Hunt and this isn’t fake… I’ll drop an f bomb live on stream.”

What Is Roblox Egg Hunt? Special Event’s History Explored

The Egg Hunt was a special event first introduced by Roblox back in 2008. While games in Roblox typically have their discreet events, this one was an overarching event involving multiple games on the platform. As the name implies, players would have to play various games during the event to find eggs hidden in them. Different eggs had different criteria, and players would have to complete different tasks and challenges to obtain them.

Roblox discontinued the egg hunt in 2020, and a new event titled Metaverse Champions took its place in 2021. In 2024, the event was rebranded to The Hunt, and while the name has changed, the event’s basic premise has remained the same. In 2025, players got the second edition of the event titled The Hunt: Mega Edition. It lasted between March 13 and April 4. A special feature of the event was a live-streamed competition held on the last day where 10 Roblox players competed for the grand prize of $1,000,000.

New York native Shayph took home the grand prize after duking it out against nine other Roblox players across eight different games, such as Tower of Hell, Dress to Impress, Slap Battles, and more.
