The Fish Skies of Anguish Event increases your chances of catching super-rare fish. You might also acquire a rare mutation by participating in this event. Fisch Skies of Anguish Event: When Does It Spawn?
As mentioned earlier, the Skies of Anguish Event is an admin event. It does not spawn with normal RNG and only occurs when a game admin activates it. This can make participation tricky, as you’ll need to stay online at the right moment to join. Since admin events have no set schedule, the event can happen at any time, day or night. The duration of the event is also up to the admin who activates it and may last a few minutes or several hours.
Improved Drop Rate for Fish During Fisch Skies of Anguish Event
While the event is active, the following three rare fish will have an increased drop rate:
- The Tarnished Moongill
- The Banana
- The Black Iron Bucket
The last two are not technically fish, but you can still catch them since their drop rate is increased.

Mutation Catches Possible
During the Fisch Skies of Anguish Event, you also have a chance to acquire catches with the Tormented mutation. Any fish with this mutation has a 6.66x increased sell value. However, you can also obtain catches with this mutation from other events, including Semi Chaos, Mayhem, and Pure Chaos events in the game.
