The elusive Easter Egg mythical crop is back in Grow a Garden with the Summer Harvest Event Update. The multi-harvest crop was initially introduced during the Easter Event. Now the devs have brought it back with the new event. Players can acquire it by competing in the ongoing Summer event.
This article will go over the steps you need to follow to obtain the Easter Egg plant in Grow a Garden as of the Summer Update. You can only get it during the ongoing event, and it is slated to last for only a couple of weeks at most.
How To Get Easter Egg Through the Summer Harvest Event
The Summer Harvest Event is the focal point of the Summer Update that dropped on June 21, 2025. It is a community event where all players on the server come together and contribute crops to get points. The event occurs once per hour. You can see the timer counting down at the center of the map. You get Harvest Points by submitting Summer Crops. At the end of the event, which takes 10 minutes, all players on the server will get rewards based on the Harvest Points.
To get the Easter Egg seed from the event, you need to satisfy the conditions stated below. Only when the threshold Harvest Points is met will you have a chance to get the seed.

Summer Harvest Event Guide: Tips on How To Increase Harvest Points
When the event begins, a fruit basket symbol will appear on the bottom right. Follow these steps to participate in the event:
- Walk up to Georgia. She is the NPC standing next to the Summer Harvest Event area at the center of the map.
- Interact with her by pressing E.
- Choose the option to submit all of your Summer Crops. All the eligible crops in your inventory, such as Tomatoes, Avocados, Bananas, and more, will be submitted into the container.
- You will see the Harvest Points counter tick up as more people submit their crops. What reward you get depends on the points you earn.
The Harvest Points that players in the server rack up during the Summer Harvest Event determine what rewards they will get. Follow these tips to increase Harvest Points and get rare rewards such as the Easter Egg crop:
- Tomatoes are currently the meta strategy. They are cheap, grow very fast, and can be planted in bulk.
- Save up as many summer crops as you can before the event starts.
- Instead of submitting one by one, talk to Georgia to submit all the Summer Plants at once.
- Doing this with friends and people you know is the best. You can join the official Grow a Garden and look for willing groups. Alternatively, try server hopping before the event starts and look for a server with experienced players.
