What Is the Grow a Garden Acidic Mutation?
The Acidic Mutation is new in the game that enhances the appearance and value of crops. Crops start emitting a greenish-yellow cloud of dust or fumes, granting them a toxic, pale green appearance. This mutation increases the sale value of affected crops by a 12x multiplier.
How To Obtain Acidic Mutation
The Acidic Mutation is tied with the Acid Rain weather event. This event commenced on August 2, 2025, as part of the Trading and Cooking Event Update.
Unfortunately, you can not manually trigger the Acid Rain weather event. It occurs randomly across all servers, not requiring admin activation. The sky turns green and visibility reduces by 50 studs due to a foggy effect, while green rain ensues.
Unlike some rarer events, Acid Rain is part of the regular weather cycle. So, it can happen at any time during gameplay.
Tips: To maximize your chance of getting the Acidic Mutation, plant as many crops as possible. This will increase the number of plants that may get the mutation.
