Grow a Garden players can now get the Cyclonic mutation on their crops. The mutation went live with the Beanstalk Event Expansion on August 23, 2025. As such, it is a limited-time mutation. How To Get the Cyclonic Mutation
As of the Beanstalk Event update, only the Griffin Pet can apply the Cyclonic mutation on crops. The Griffin is one of the many new additions during the Beanstalk Expansion. As the event is live for one week, the mutation is a limited edition one. The Griffin flaps its wings every 15 minutes and spawns a Cyclone. Plants in the cyclone’s path have a 10% chance to gain the Cyclonic Mutation. Which means you can stack Griffins to increase the chance of getting the mutation on your plants.
How To Get a Griffin
Griffins have a 1% drop chance from the Skyroot Chest. You can get the Skyroot chest from the giant Goliath’s Friendship Shop during the Beanstalk event for 1.5 million Sheckles. The Skyroot Chest is also craftable at the Beanstalk Crafting Station. Alternatively, you can try trading for the pet directly or pay 199 Robux at the Limited Shop to buy an Exotic Skyroot Chest.
Cyclonic Mutation Affects: Crop Value Modifier
The Cyclonic mutation changes the appearance of the crops as well as adds a modifier to their value. Affected crops appear as blue particles that revolve around them. The value is also increased by x50 due to the mutation’s modifier.
