Ice cream is one of the newest items in Grow a Garden’s cooking update. It has two legendary variants and one mythical variant that you can make. It takes less than six minutes to make and is sometimes necessary for feeding the new non-playable character (NPC) Chris P. This guide explains how you can make ice cream using commonly found ingredients.

Grow a Garden: How To Get Ice Cream

Here are all of the possible combinations of ice cream recipes in Grow a Garden: 

Variant	Recipe
Legendary Ice Cream	1x Pineapple, 1x Corn
Legendary Ice Cream	1x Banana, 1x Sugar Apple
Mythical Ice Cream	2x Banana

Here is how you can start preparing ice cream in any cauldron: 

1. Go next to a cauldron 
2. Open your inventory and add the necessary ingredients
3. Interact with the cauldron and click on cook
4. Wait 5 minutes and 48 seconds for the ice cream to be ready 
5. Collect your ice cream from the cauldron 

The rarity of the ice cream changes depending on the fruits you use. Since bananas are mythical, using two of them creates a mythical ice cream. There are also some prismatic variants of recipes, but one is not available for ice cream just yet.

Once your ice cream is ready, you can feed it to the Chris P NPC. He has speech bubbles that mention what he is craving at any given moment. If you feed him the right items, he gives you random rewards like seed packs and other rewards. Make sure you feed him only what he is craving, or you will not get any rewards.
