Fans have eagerly awaited the new update, as it brings a bee-themed event with some new game mechanics, crops, a new in-game currency, and more. One of the new crops introduced in the game is the Sunflower crop.

How To Get the Grow a Garden Sunflower
The Sunflower is a new crop introduced as part of the Bizzy Bees Update (active from May 31, 2025, to June 7, 2025). Let’s check out how to obtain the flower:
The first method is to purchase it from the new Queen Bee NPC. Sunflower seeds can be purchased directly for 15K Honey (the event’s currency). When you approach the NPC, select the “I want to trade honey” option. If unavailable, wait for the next hourly refresh or check again later during the event.
The second method is buying the Flower Seed Packs from the Honey Shop using Honey. These packs contain a random assortment of flower seeds, including Sunflower, Hive Fruit, Nectarine, and Rose. This method, however, may take longer since the Flower Seed Pack won’t guarantee you this flower. You may need multiple attempts to get it.
How To Use the Sunflower
Sunflowers are more likely to acquire the Pollinated Mutation (golden glow, 3x value) if you plant them in your garden during Swarm Events (10-minute windows every hour or at random). For even greater yields, apply the Honey Glazed Mutation (5x value) with a Bear Bee pet or a Honey Sprinkler (available at the Honey Shop).
Note: The Bizzy Bees Update is a limited-time event. Try to obtain the new crops before the end of the event (June 7, 2025), as they may not be available afterward.
