Stages: How To Enable Voice Chat
Roblox does not allow you to use voice chat if you are not age-verified. The platform requires you to upload a government-issued identification card to enable the feature. Documents you can use include passports, driver’s licenses, or similar documents. The app also requires you to take a selfie to verify your face matches the identification card. If you have the required documents, here’s what you have to do:
- Go to www.roblox.com
- Login to your account
- Click on the Settings menu (gear icon)
- Navigate to Account Info> Verify My Age
- Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your identification details
- Take a selfie to verify your identity
- Wait for the verification
Roblox typically verifies accounts within a few minutes. In some cases, it can take up to four hours. Once you complete your account verification, here’s what you have to do:
- Navigate to Settings > Privacy
- Head to the Voice Chat settings
- Turn on the Voice Chat option
- The app will reconfirm your age
- Read the terms and conditions and accept after verifying your information
You can now use voice chat on Stages. Remember to follow all the rules when using voice chat else you will face actions on your Roblox account.
