If you have been enjoying the Squid Games series, you will also enjoy the latest update in the My Fishing Pier experience. The Squid Games-inspired update brings in a whole new game mode to the fishing experience on Roblox. There are four new baits you can get, which include 12 new fish. An event exclusive rod is also available for purchase. You can get some Games event mutations applied to your fish during the Games weather.

All New Additions in the Games Event in My Fishing Pier
For starters, there is a new Games tent that replaces the Oil Rig from the last update. You can visit this tent the same way by using the teleporter in the Town. Once inside the tent, you can fish out the Games event index. There are a total of four new baits available to purchase and catch in the tent.
The tent features a Red Light/Green Light event, which can apply certain modifications to your fish. The Green Light mutation will increase the price by 3x, and the Red Light mutation will cut the prices by half. So, make sure to fish when the Green Light is active.
You can then sell all your fish you caught during the event to the Square Guard. The Square Guard will provide you with Squid Tickets that you can use to purchase baits for your pier. You can check out all the new baits, how much they cost, and what their chances of spawning at the Games tent.

New Events and Mutations
There is a new Games weather event that is exclusive to the new update. The Games weather will apply one of four mutations to your fish. These mutations can increase the price of your fish significantly. Keep in mind that these are event-exclusive mutations and will be available till the 5th of July 2025. The Game weather mutations and the price increase are as follows:
- Circle – 2.1x Price boost.
- Triangle– 2.25x Price boost.
- Square– 3.5x Price boost.
- Frontman– 5.5x Price boost.
