Steal A Deadly Rails: How To Play
If you’ve already played other “Steal a Character” games, you will be familiar with the gameplay. For those who are new, here’s how it works: A list of Dead Rails-inspired characters (Mobs) will spawn from a tunnel and automatically move onto a ramp. To collect these characters, walk up to them and press “E.”
These characters have varying costs depending on their rarity. For example, at the start, you may only be able to collect Common Tier characters, such as the Dynamite Zombie ($150). As you earn more Bounds (the in-game currency), you can collect rarer characters, such as the Outlaw ($900, Uncommon) or the Guard ($15,000, Rare).
These Mobs will generate Bounds for you to collect. For example, the common Dynamite Zombie will generate $7.5/second. Other rarer characters, such as the Outlaw, will generate $30/second.
How To Steal Characters
As the game’s name suggests, one of the key mechanics in Steal A Deadly Rails is stealing characters from other players’ bases. To steal a character, enter another player’s base and grab their unprotected mobs. However, if they are vigilant, they may catch you and attack. They can also use guns to defend their bases.
How To Protect Your Base
While you can steal mobs from other players, remember that your base is also vulnerable to theft. To prevent your mobs from being stolen, you can fortify your base with a premium lock for 24 hours, but this feature costs Robux. You can also fortify your base for 60 seconds for free. Simply walk up to the green circular button in your base and activate it. Otherwise, you must remain vigilant. If you see other players attempting to steal your mobs, you can attack them to reclaim your characters.
