While the gameplay RuneScape Dragonwilds is heavy on the crafting and building side, the combat is no slouch. You’re given tons of weapons to dispose of foes, with each weapon catering to a different playstyle. If you’re methodical and patient, you can rely on the sword/shield combo to deal with enemies. For those who prefer to hit hard (but maybe not as often), the greatsword is the perfect go-to weapon. Even magic-based players eat well with the various staffs and spells.
Magic-based gameplay in RuneScape Dragonwilds allows the users to use powerful spells to dispose of enemies. The spells also come in handy during day-to-day tasks such as chopping trees, adding versatility to the weapons. Keep in mind that you get limited uses out of your staff.
If you look at the center of your screen, right next to the crosshair, you’ll see a number. This number refers to the number of uses you have left, and once dropped to zero, renders you with no uses for the staff. You can recharge these uses and the staff, but the game does not tell you how to go about doing so.

As stated earlier, each staff comes with limited uses. You can see the number of uses you have left at the center of your screen, next to the crosshair. Thankfully, even if you run out of uses, you can recharge the staff to use it again.
To recharge the staff, you first need to understand how the staff works. While not a firearm by any means, the staff functions like one and uses ammunition to shoot out orbs. The Runes act as this ammunition, directly corresponding to the number of uses you have left. Therefore, if you wish to recharge your staff in RuneScape Dragonwilds, you need to craft more Runes.
You craft Runes using Rune Essence, a glowing resource found inside Rune Geysers on the map. Mine the Rune Geysers to obtain Rune Essence, which you can then run through the Rune Altar to obtain Runes and recharge your staff.
