During the Ancient Soil quest, players get to know that the voice they’ve been listening to is of Sapadal, a forgotten god. Sapadal looks like a person who is half building and half tree. The god speaks to the players and offers them powerful abilities.

If You Accept Sapadal’s Power
If a player accepts the power Sapadal offers, he will receive the Thorn of Sapadal godlike ability. At the cost of 30 Essence, players can use this ability that will fire thorns filled with energy. This ability can provide crowd control, as it can hold enemies in their place for some moments. Thorn of Sapadal has a cooldown of 30 seconds. There is a second decision players have to take after accepting the powers.
Players get to decide whether they destroy the ruins or sever the Adra Network. If a player decides to sever the Adra Network, they will receive the Severed Branch godlike ability. This ability — costing 30 Essence and having a 60-second cooldown — is used to get maximum movement speed for 20 seconds. On the other hand, if a player destroys the ruins, he will receive the Scion of the Immortal Land ability. This godlike ability increases the damage and enables regeneration for 12 seconds. The Scion of the Immortal Land ability is better, because it gives buffs that can help in difficult times.
If You Reject Sapadal’s Power
Players will get the Godlike’s Will ability if they reject the Sapadal’s power offer. This ability is just a bonus ability point that can be spent in the Fighter, Wizard, or Ranger skill trees. Moreover, rejecting the power also closes the choice of destroying the ruins or severing the Adra Network. Even though rejecting the powers gives no godlike abilities, this decision affects the ending of the game directly.
