You will find the Shoulder Bag in Chapter 3, during your second visit to Ebisugaoka Fields, also called Fog Town. After finishing the Shrine Path section, head back to the main street. There’s a shrine nearby; use it to save your progress before moving on.

From the main street, go east until you spot a path leading north. Take it and quickly turn left. Keep following the alley between the houses until you reach a small courtyard. Two Kashimashi enemies are waiting. One patrols around, and the other bangs its head against a door. It’s easier to take out the moving one first.

Once they’re gone, circle the large tree in the area and head down the narrow alley beyond it. At the end, you will see a wooden crate. The Shoulder Bag is sitting right on top. Grab it, and your inventory immediately increases from eight to nine slots. If you miss it this time, you will get another chance later while heading to the Middle School, so don’t worry too much.

How To Use the Shoulder Bag

The Shoulder Bag works automatically once you pick it up. You don’t have to equip it or do anything special. Your inventory just gets an extra slot. That little extra space makes managing items a lot easier.

With one more slot, you can carry extra healing items, weapons, or story-related objects without dropping anything else. It might seem small, but in Silent Hill F, every slot counts. The Shoulder Bag sets you up to handle resources better as the game gets tougher.
