Learn how Crossplay in Skate works and use it to have fun with your friends in the sprawling world of the game.

The Crossplay feature is an essential part of Skate, EA’s fourth installment in the long-running skateboard simulation franchise. It allows players to enjoy the game with their friends and take a trip to the beautiful map and perform tricks on its numerous canals, staircases, and rooftops.
However, the developers have only released Skate in Early Access on September 16, 2025. And gamers are eagerly waiting for a full 1.0 release in the future.
How Crossplay Works in Skate

Players will get to enjoy Crossplay in EA’s latest Skate from the moment they start the game. The developers have enabled the feature as a default option, so gamers won’t have to go through various menu tabs to find it. Since Skate is a multiplayer, you will also see and meet skaters on other systems roaming around the map.
As of now, Skate supports Crossplay across all major platforms, including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Another thing to note is that players who have blocked Crossplay platform play on their Xbox will have to enable it manually in the settings. Furthermore, to use the crossplay feature and add your friends to enjoy the game together, follow the steps given below:
- Go to the hub or press the left button on your D-pad.
- Navigate to the Social & Spectate menu.
- Type in your friend’s username in the search tab and then add them.
- After that, you will be able to invite them to your party.
Additionally, players have encountered some issues with Skate’s crossplay. This can be a drawback of the game being in Early Access. However, to find some fixes for it, you can check out our Skate Crossplay Error guide.
