In this Split Fiction guide, we shall go over the Treasure Temple mission in Chapter 5, Rise of the Dragon Realm.
Split Fiction Chapter 5 is one of the most exciting chapters in the game. This chapter sees you exploring the ruins of a once glorious dragon kingdom. Make no mistake though, this is not a tourist destination. The dragon that brought this kingdom to its downfall, the Megalith, is on your tail throughout and seeks to kill you.
As you evade this dragon by the skin of your teeth, you stumble across an ancient cavern where you set the dragon souls free. The large dragon soul then carries you over and brings you to the outskirts of the Treasure Temple. This is one of the best parts of this chapter and greatly expands on the lore of this fallen kingdom. It is also a surprisingly difficult section, and if you’re stuck, we’re here to help.

How To Complete the Treasure Temple Mission
The large dragon soul will drop you off near the outskirts of the Treasure Temple. Follow the purple crystals along the path till you reach a junction. Take a left and jump across the gap to access the Birthday Cake side story.
Once you’re done with the side story, take a right and continue down the original path. Follow along the path till you reach the twin coiled dragon statues before the temple gates. Melt the statues away to expose the purple crystals, and then destroy the crystals to unveil a speaker. Roar into the speaker, and the temple gates will open before you.
Do not get too excited, however, as right past the gates is the Treasure Traitor. This armored turtle blocks the stairs and spawns balls and cylinders that roll down the staircase. The balls are fairly easy to dodge and can be sidestepped. The cylinders are a little tricky, however.
The cylinder is split into three parts. The gold parts are strong and cannot be destroyed. The purple/white part, however, can be melted or destroyed. Align yourself with these parts and pass through to reach the end of the staircase. The Treasure Traitor will then try to run away, so chase after him. Chase him to the end of the platform, after which the floor will collapse, sending you to the level below and to the next section.
