While most quests in Tainted Grail are quite straightforward, some of them require an extra bit of brainstorming to complete. One such side quest is Pumpkin Peril. This sends you out on a hunt for Pumpkin Seeds without many clues. This side quest is given to you by Gardner Eogan at Horn of the South Fortress after completing his Roots of Knowledge side mission.
How To Find Pumpkin Seeds in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon
To find Pumpkin Seeds in Tainted Grail, travel to a small town called Rescree, located north of the Fortress. Wait till nighttime to encounter two skeleton farmers working on their crops. Speak to the skeleton on the right, and he will sell Pumpkin Seeds for 80 Gold.
After buying the seeds, you can give them to Eogan, back at the Fortress, who will plant the seeds. The quest is completed at this point, but you can come back and check on the results in a few days.
Reap What You Sow
Upon your return, you will find a mutated pumpkin that has already killed Eogan and starts attacking you on sight. The pumpkin isn’t too difficult to defeat, but you can make the fight easier by using fire-based weapons or spells. Defeat the pumpkin to collect some rare crafting materials.
Occasionally, the skeletons might not be there when you’re at Rescree, even during the night. To spawn them correctly, just fast travel to another location and try again after returning.
