These once-prosperous lands are now dark and dangerous, and only a fool would journey through them alone. Thankfully, Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon allows you to keep a cute pet on your journey, Qrko.
Qrko is a cute little reptilian creature that accompanies you wherever you go. Before you keep him as a companion, however, you first need to find his egg, the Questing Beast Egg. Once you have the egg, you then have to hatch it. Finding the egg is a difficult task on its own, and hatching it is even worse since the game gives you no hints on how to do it. To get Qrko as a pet, first, you need to find the Questing Beast Egg. You find the Questing Beast Egg towards the eastern end of the Horns of the South region. As you continue along the coast, you will stumble across the Shrine of the Forgotten God. The shrine is tucked away, but a path with red trees will lead you to it. The shrine gate has torches on either side, so it is easy to spot.
Follow the linear path through the Shrine, and you will find the Lair of the Beast. Enter the Lair of the Beast and stick to the path on your right. You will find a horrifying slain beast atop a rock on this path. Take a left from this rock to find the Questing Beast Egg.
Inspect the Questing Beast Egg item in your inventory, and the description will reveal that holding the egg long enough will hatch it. You need to walk 5000 steps to meet the “long enough” criteria. Once you’ve walked those many steps, set up camp and rest on the bonfire to hatch the egg. A small cutscene will then play, and Qrko will hatch out of his egg.
