Obtain the Fore-Dweller’s Finger for Malachy in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon easily by following this quick guide.
A quest for Malachy in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will send players searching for the Fore-Dweller’s Finger. This happens in his questline after you have already brought him the Marrowghast’s Eye. Don’t worry, though, he is not planning anything malicious. He just wishes to cater to more customers. We have brought you this guide because Malachy gives players no accurate pointers on where to find this finger item. He is not gatekeeping anything, he doesn’t know it himself. Fortunately, we do.
You must first start the quest, The Last Voyage. Before that, we couldn’t find a way of obtaining the Fore-Dweller’s Finger. The Village is located west of the Horns of the South Fort. Inside Ron’s Tavern, Lady Elaine will issue you this quest. She will be in the left corner of the tavern behind Lady Alisa. Once she has handed you a book to read, do as she asked, and then talk to her again. Just remember to select the following dialogue choices:
- “A figurine of a Fore-Dweller.”
- “Island Asylum.”
- “A sea monster.”
This is when the quest kicks off.
Finding Fore-Dweller’s Finger in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
The first thing to do after talking with the lady is to visit the Horns of the South Museum. You must talk with the caretaker about Andraste. He will then ask you to visit the east of the coast to the quest marker. There is a large island here, and Andraste’s shipwreck is right behind it.
As you explore the shipwreck, you will eventually come across an item called the Personal Diary of Captain Lex. Once you read it, you will gain a new quest marker, leading you to a cave below the All-Mother’s Temple, which you need to swim to.
There are some monsters that you will need to take care of in here. Keep making your way deeper into the cave until you come across a large pond inside. A boat here will be stagnant with cloth covering it and light shining upon it. Interact with it because the Fore-Dweller’s corpse is hidden here. Select the “Rip off finger” option to bring the Fore-Dweller’s Finger with you in Tainted Grail.
All you need to do is return to Malachy, give him the obtained finger, and you will get 2550 XP, 250 gold, and a Wand of Piercing Cold.
