You will keep finding better weapons and armor as you progress through Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon. However, you can even improve the weapons and armor that you’re using right now with the help of relics. These are items that modify certain stats of your favorite weapon or armor, making them more deadly or providing greater protection.

However, since the game doesn’t do a great job at explaining how you can use these relics, new players might be left scratching their heads. So, in this guide, we’ll go over how you can use the weapon and armor relics in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.

Before you can use relics on a weapon or piece of armor, you’ll need three things.

  • The weapon or armor relic
  • A corresponding weapon or piece of armor that has an empty relic slot
  • A Grindstone.

However, you might find that none of your weapons or armor have empty relic slots. Don’t worry. You can create up to two relic slots in each piece of gear at a Grindstone. However, you’ll need to spend 500 coins to unlock each slot. Now, let’s take a look at the process of integrating relics into your weapon or armor.

  • Step 1: Find a Grindstone. You can locate one at Osbryht’s Blacksmith’s shop. He is in the keep of the Shadow of the Horns.

  • Step 2: Interact with the Grindstone and select the ‘Attach a Relic’ option.

  • Step 3: Choose the weapon or armor where you’d like to attach the relic. If there isn’t any slot, you can add one to the gear by hitting the plus sign. This will cost 500 coins.

  • Step 4: Click on the empty relic spot and choose the relic you want to apply to that slot.

Keep in mind that rings, amulets, and spells cannot be modified using relics. Other than that, you can place relics in all other kinds of weapons and armor.
