How To Get the Rich Rhubarb Pie Recipe in Tales of the Shire
After Gandalf the Grey escorts you to Bywater, your very first quest, dubbed Warm Welcome, begins. In it, you have to meet up with Orlo Proudfoot. He’s waiting just ahead from where the game begins, right outside your hobbit home. Orlo will take you to your new home and show you around. You will have to enter the home using the side entrance for now. Inside, you’ll be able to explore some of the major areas of the home, including your bed, wardrobe, kitchen, and pantry.

After you’ve explored the home to your heart’s content, the next step involves cooking Rhubarb Porridge for Orlo. For that, simply head to your kitchen and interact with the counter. You will go through a short cooking tutorial. During this, you’ll learn how to chop vegetables and prepare the dish. Once the dish is complete, you will need to serve it to your guest.
After that’s done, you will speak with Orlo again. Next, interact with your dining table. You’ll need to place the Rhubarb Porridge you prepared in front of him on the table. Once you do that, a meal cutscene will follow. Orlo will taste the dish you prepared, and his facial expression will show you whether he’s pleased. After the meal is complete, your friendship level with your guest will improve.
Next, talk to Orlo Proudfoot to collect the reward for increasing the fellowship level. He will give you the Rich Rhubarb Pie recipe.
