Here is a comprehensive guide that explains how you can improve stamina in The Precinct so you can pursue offenders for longer.

The criminals in The Precinct, like their real-life counterparts, won’t want to get busted by the cops. And, much like in reality, they’ll often take off running to avoid an arrest. As an officer, it’s your job to pursue them and bring them to justice. However, that’s often easier said than done.
Running after a suspect can leave you out of breath, thanks to the game’s stamina meter. After your stamina runs out, you will become far more sluggish and slower in your movements. This could even lead to a suspect evading arrest and escaping. So, in this guide, we’ll explain how you can improve stamina in The Precinct and keep chasing suspects for longer without tiring.
How To Improve Stamina in The Precinct

You can increase your stamina in the game by purchasing upgrades using Upgrade Tokens. You have to earn XP to get your hands on these tokens. Performing normal law enforcement duties will lead to XP and Upgrade Tokens.
For instance, make lawful arrests to earn some XP. Or, you can issue traffic citations to get XP and unlock tokens. However, there are several ways in which you can lose XP too. For instance, if you use lethal force in a situation where that wasn’t necessary, you’ll lose a considerable amount of the XP you’ve already earned. So, make sure to follow the code of the law to ensure maximum XP gain.
After you have an Upgrade Token to spend, head over to the Player Menu. Here, you’ll find four major skill trees related to Physical, Vehicle, Combat, and Policing. All of the stamina-related upgrades are under the Physical skill tree. So, go ahead and open it up. You’ll find three skills here that will improve your stamina and how long you can run.
- Max Stamina+: Invest Upgrade Tokens on this skill to improve your maximum stamina by 35%.
- Timed Breath: You will regain stamina even while you’re sprinting.
- Bullseye: the needle for the Timed Breath moves slower and makes it easier to hit and regain stamina.
It’s a great choice to invest in improving your stamina early on in the game. It will allow you to chase after goons longer while also being harder to pin down by suspects. Make sure to also invest in increasing your health at the same time.
