Each time The Pokemon Company announces a new Pokemon Presents, the anticipation levels of fans go through the roof. With the upcoming Pokemon Presents scheduled for July 22, 2025, fans of the franchise from around the world are excited to see what new information is going to be on offer, especially with Pokemon Legends: Z-A so close to release and Pokemon Worlds 2025 coming up next month.

So let’s take a look at some of the things that fans would love to learn more about during Pokemon Presents July 2025. Keep in mind, though, all of this is speculation, so don’t feel disappointed if the thing you wanted to see isn’t a part of the upcoming announcement.

5 Potential Announcements From Pokemon Presents July 2025 That Will Be a Hit Among the Fandom

These are five things that could be announced at Pokemon Presents that fans would love:

  • Showing off details about the spin-off game Pokemon Champions
  • Showing off cards from the Pokemon TCG expansion Mega Brave/Mega Symphonia
  • Showing off a new Mega Evolution making its debut in Pokemon Legends Z-A
  • Announcing a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for the Nintendo Switch 2
  • Teasing the first games set in Generation X of the series

5) New Information on Pokemon Champions

Out of all the spin-off game content announced at the last Pokemon Presents, Pokemon Champions was the most hyped. A spiritual successor to Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Champions is a cross-platform multiplayer game that will be accessible not only to Switch players but also across mobile platforms like iOS and Android.

As there has been no new information about this game since its announcement back in February 2025, fans would be delighted if the upcoming Pokemon Presents in July 2025 gave us additional information about Pokemon Champions.

4) New Cards From the Pokemon TCG Expansion Mega Brave/Mega Symphonia

At the Japan Championships 2025, the Japanese version of the latest Pokemon TCG expansion was announced. This version—translated to Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia in English—is notable for bringing back Mega Evolutions in the Pokemon TCG for the first time since Cosmic Eclipse in 2019.

While it is possible that The Pokemon Company may wait until Worlds to reveal more details, especially since Black Bolt and White Flare will be coming out a few days before Pokemon Presents in July 2025, it would definitely thrill fans if they chose to reveal some more information about this set on July 22, 2025.

3) A New Mega Evolution in Legends Z-A

The Pokemon TCG isn’t the only part of the franchise teasing the return of Mega Evolutions. Pokemon Legends Z-A is bringing back the fan-favorite mechanic, with new ones being teased along the way. While leaks have indicated which Pokemon are likely to get new Megas, an officially announced new Mega Evolution would hype this game even more than it already has been.

2) A New Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for the Switch 2

It has been five years since the last Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game—Rescue Team DX—was released. With fans starved for more from this beloved part of the franchise, announcing a new Mystery Dungeon game at Pokemon Presents in July 2025 would thrill them further, especially as the Nintendo Switch 2 seems to handle more detailed graphics without chugging, unlike its predecessor, allowing for more depth in visual storytelling.

1) The First Generation X Games

This is the longest of all long shots, especially since announcing Generation X could lead to some people waiting for those games instead of buying Legends Z-A. However, there’s always an outside chance that we may receive a teaser of what The Pokemon Company has cooking for the next generation.

While it would be unexpected to see any gameplay footage at this point, both Scarlet and Violet and Legends Z-A received cinematic hype teasers announcing them well before their releases. So there is always an outside possibility.
