March 2025 is shaping up to have a ton of big names releasing. They are not limited to any specific genre as well. Stealth, sports, action and co-op; there’s a game for everyone. Everyone will be anticipating different games; however, there are a few standout names among these.
Here are some of the most anticipated games for March 2025.
5. The First Berserker: Khazan
Khazan is a hardcore action-RPG set in the Dungeon Fighter Online (DnF) universe. You will be playing as Khazan, a hero who saved the kingdom. However, the kingdom branded Khazan a traitor. This sets up a revenge narrative in which you can take on a wide variety of monsters while parrying and dodging.
The game will release on 27th March, 2025. Additionally, it will be coming to Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
4. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition
This sci-fi action game first released in 2015. However, Monolith Soft is now revamping the game and releasing it for a newer generation. This remaster is said to feature better graphical textures alongside more story content. Pilot giant robots, named Skells, and save humanity, which is on the verge of extinction after an intergalactic war.
This game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive and will be released on 20th March 2025.
3. WWE 2K25
The latest game in the WWE 2K series is set to release in March as well. The game will feature many features that were present in previous entries and removed from later entries. Additionally, 2K25 will also feature ‘The Island.’ This is a new game mode, which will have quests, shops, and online gameplay. Play as your favorite WWE superstars and engage in a wide variety of matches. (The Island will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S)
WWE 2K25 is set to release on 14th March, 2025. The game will be playable on Windows, PlayStation 4, and 5 alongside the Xbox Series X/S.
2. Split Fiction
Split Fiction is a new game from the creators of the Game of the Year winner for 2021. Hazelight Studios has made It Takes Two and A Way Out, both of which are co-op games. Split Fiction follows in the footsteps of this formula. The game will feature two protagonists who will travel through sci-fi and fantasy worlds to escape with their memories intact.
The game has set 6th March as its release date. It will be releasing on Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and the PlayStation 5.
1. Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Ubisoft’s newest Assassin’s Creed game is already making waves. This game will also feature two protagonists you can switch between: Naoe and Yasuke. These two characters will give a large amount of variety in your approach to missions. This will be the first Assassin’s Creed game to have a Japanese setting.
The newest entry will release on 20th March, 2025. Lastly, it will release on Windows and Mac systems, alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
