Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate leave Romania for the United States after being prohibited from traveling for two and a half years.
The controversial social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have departed Romania after their travel ban was removed. Allegedly, the brothers boarded a private plane to travel to the United States from Baneasa Airport. The Tates have been prohibited from traveling since December 2023 after being arrested on major charges of rape, human trafficking, and other offenses, all of which they deny.
Despite Tristan Tate and Andrew Tate being dual citizens of the United Kingdom and the United States, the Romanian prime minister earlier denied that the US government had exerted any pressure on them to ease their travel ban.
Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate’s Arrest
After being arrested in 2022 along with two Romanian women on charges of human trafficking, rape, and creating a criminal gang to sexually abuse women, Andrew Tate, 38, a former professional kickboxer, and his brother, 36, have been prohibited from traveling. In both cases, the Tates and their alleged accomplices have rejected all of the accusations made against them.
Moreover, in August, Diicot, Romania’s anti-organized crime section, opened a second investigation into the allegations. These allegations included money laundering, sexual relations with minors, human trafficking, and the formation of an organized criminal gang.
Andrew Tate has been banned from a number of social media sites due to his hate speech and misogynistic ideas. Despite having more than 10 million followers on X, where he advocates for an ultra-masculine lifestyle that denigrates women. The Tate brothers were arrested once again in March 2024 after Adin Ross disclosed his plan of action.
