Ah, Friendship is one of many events you might encounter in the Career mode of Umamusume: Pretty Derby while training.
Events are a key part of increasing your stats or receiving various other rewards in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. These appear randomly in Career mode after doing training or other activities. They are mostly decided by your Support Cards equipped, alongside your trainee.
One such event you might encounter is called Ah, Friendship. The outcome of this event will depend on the decision you take. Therefore, it is important that you evaluate your situation and make the correct choice that grants you the most benefit.

Ah, Friendship Event Overview in Umamusume Pretty Derby
You can only chance upon this event if you have a particular Support Card equipped before starting your Career run. This is the SSR Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels). If you do not have this Support Card yourself, then you can friend a player who has this card to borrow it instead.
There will be two choices you need to decide between. Both of these will give differing rewards.

Choice 1
Picking this choice will get you the following increases:
- Mood Up
- +5 Increase to Power
- +5 Friendship with Kitasan Black
Choice 2
On the other hand, this differs slightly for the second option.
- 10 Energy restored
- +5 Friendship with Kitasan Black
Which Choice to Select for Ah, Friendship in Umamusume Pretty Derby?
You will ideally want to select the first option if you want an increase in your Power. However, if you feel that you are doing fine on that front, then the second option is not bad simply because energy restoration is usually never a bad thing. Energy being restored means you have to waste fewer days on resting.
This gives more options for leveling your other stats as well, instead of just focusing on Power. Both options will increase your friendship with Kitasan Black, so that is not a deciding factor here.
