The GW (Golshi Week) Celebration Hijack is a two-week-long free event with Gold Ship as the mascot. The event offers a daily login bonus of 564 Carats, special missions to earn upgrade resources, and Gold Ship Star Pieces. During the event, Career can be played in “Golshi Mode” to earn greater rewards while increasing its difficulty. This guide explores the new career difficulty mode and how to make the most of it.

You can choose Golshi Mode at the “Career Playthrough Difficulty Setting” page while starting a new career. Monies obtainable through the event are written on the same page, below the Golshi Mode selection.

You can earn up to 1,200,000 extra Monies by completing careers in Golshi Mode during the course of the event. However, the Golshi Mode career difficulty and its bonus Monies will expire five days before the GW event ends. The countdown is visible at the bottom left corner of the difficulty selection page.

Despite claiming that Golshi Mode increases the career’s toughness, the difficulty spike is barely noticeable. As visible in the image above, the number one favorite-to-win opponents for the final career goal race and the URA Finale Finals race are barely stronger than their normal career counterparts. Their highest stats peak at B rank, which happens frequently in normal late-career G1 races as well.

The best way to quickly earn all the career Monies is to choose Front Runner characters, preferably for shorter distances like Sprint and Mile. Doing so will allow you to blaze through the careers quickly by mainly focusing on Speed and a bit of Power training. Front Runners are the most consistent winners in careers, and for shorter distances, you don’t have to worry about balancing Stamina training with Speed.

If you are more experienced with the career mechanics, complete careers with Medium and Long distance runners instead. These races during your career will award you with extra fans and help complete the fan-earning and specific race-winning GW special missions. Learn how to complete the most important missions first with our GW Celebration Hijack guide here.

Golshi Mode Rewards

The Golshi Mode rewards are provided after completing a career. The amount of extra Monies awarded depends on the Career Goals completed and whether you won the URA Finale. As seen in the image above, completing nine out of nine goals and winning the URA Finale wins 100,000 Monies.

Therefore, you’ll have to complete 12 careers successfully to earn the entire sum of 1,200,000 Monies available during the event. By choosing easy-to-win careers like those of Front Runner characters, you can easily achieve the goal in time and win the prize in its entirety.
