You may encounter a number of events while training during a Career run of Umamusume: Pretty Derby. These events have various outcomes, which are often decided by chance, or through your decisions. Choosing the correct decision could get you a significant positive condition or stat boost.

However, on the flip side, making the wrong choice could result in lowered mood or other negative conditions. Therefore, it is crucial that you make the right choice during these moments. The event in focus for this guide is Premeditated Mischief.

This randomly occurring event is linked to a specific Support Card in the game. This is the SR Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-be). You can get this card through certain Scout banners.

If you have obtained this card, equip it at the start of your Career run, and you will meet all the requirements to activate this event. Now, you will have a random chance of its occurrence after Training. Once you do, you will have to decide between two options, and depending on which you choose, you will be rewarded differently.

Choice 1

+10 Speed
+20 Skill Points
+1 Skill Hint for Levelheaded
+5 Friendship increased with Sweep Tosho

Choice 2

Mood decrease
+1 Skill Hint for Lone Wolf

Which Option Should You Select During Premeditated Mischief in Umamusume Pretty Derby

From a first glance, it should be clear that the first option has a large range of benefits, with no visible drawbacks. On the other hand, the second choice reduces your mood by one rank, but gets you the Lone Wolf Skill Hint.

In most cases, the first choice is the clear winner, due to the benefits you get. However, the Levelheaded skill is only usable for End Closer characters. Therefore, it will be useless for characters using a different running style. However, despite this the extra Speed and Skill Points will likely still be the better choice.
