There are many races you can attempt in the Career mode of Umamusume: Pretty Derby, one of which is the Takamatsunomiya Kinen.
You need to win races to not only complete Career mode but also to complete certain missions as well. One such main mission involves you winning the Dual Sprints. Takamatsunomiya Kinen Details and Requirements in Umamusume Pretty Derby
This G1-tier race will be available during the Third Year of your Career run. Specifically, you can participate during Late March of this year. Therefore, it takes place quite deep into your run. However, to balance this out, you will need a decent 15,000 fans to even meet the entry requirement. The rest of the details of the race are:

- Direction: Left
- Participants: 18
- Terrain: Turf
- Type: Sprint
- Distance: 1200
- Weather: Sunny

Suggested Skills for the Takamatsunomiya Kinen in Umamusume Pretty Derby
Stamina is not as much of a necessity here when compared to most other races. This is due to the Sprint nature of the race. Therefore, Stamina recovery skills are not as important as other skills. Instead, you should focus on increasing your Speed and passing ability as much as possible. There are many ways to make this possible. Some skills you will definitely want are:

What Are the Rewards for Completing the Takamatsunomiya Kinen?
Since this is a G1 race, you will naturally get the Takamatsunomiya Kinen Winner’s Garland upon winning, along with the trophy for the first time per character. This will be a nice bonus on top of the individual rewards listed below:
- Sprint Racing Shoes
- Monies
- Support Points
- Fans (You can only get 13,000 if you place first. This number will go down according to your final placement.)
Additionally, you can also get five Carats and/or a Goddess Statue randomly. These last two rewards are not guaranteed.
