At the beginning of January, Shroud announced that he would be doing a subathon and it kept getting better. From Marvel Rivals cosplay to massive donations, his streams had it all. Now, Shroud went on to host a grand unboxing of Pokemon cards worth $100,000. This featured Magic and he had a large amount of boxes in the post shared by him on X.

Sourced from Boxed TCG who commented on Shroud’s post as well, these cards also included Assasin Creed, Horizons III, and Foundations collection.

Although, fans also questioned that it was unbelievable that the amount of products kept on the table was worth $100,000, many hoped that Shroud would pull out the best cards. They were visibly excited about the announcement as well.

Shroud’s Fragathon Subathon So Far

In honor of his father, who succumbed to cancer last year, Shroud is currently hosting a month-long Twitch subathon to raise money for charity. He announced on X saying:

“Last year I lost my dad to cancer. Ever since I have been looking for ways I can support people who are going through similar situations. We came up with the Fragathon.”

In order to help generate money for the cause, Shroud has already invited a number of well-known people, like iiTzTimmy, Jacksepticeye, Ludwig, and many others, to join him on a LAN setup at his house. He is not alone in taking on this enormous endeavor. In addition to streaming, he participates in live events and challenges, which raises the amount of money donated.

The game that Shroud has played the most during the Fragathon so far is Marvel Rivals, and he has even gone so far as to suggest that he “genuinely” might be playing it for the rest of his life. Additionally, he disclosed that if the donation amount reaches a specific threshold, he may potentially buy an esports team for Marvel Rivals, which he will shortly disclose to the audience.

Even though Shroud’s Fragathon was temporarily canceled because of the wildfires in California, it has already raised over $300,000, as of writing.
