Washington DC police detained Kick streamer Ac7ionMan during Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony after someone made a hoax call.
Kick streamer Aaron “Ac7ionMan” Travis was allegedly detained by the United States Secret Service on January 21, 2025. The streamer was livestreaming Donald Trump’s Presidential inauguration ceremony in Washington DC during this incident.
Additionally, the streamer has been allegedly “swatted” dozens of times on stream at various locations. Swatting refers to hoax calls to emergency services, and it is an issue that has affected streamers like Kai Cenat, Félix “xQc” Lengyel, and Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa.
Ac7ionMan apologized to his audience after the swatting incident and said he was “tired of getting harassed” on stream. Moreover, he hinted that he will do future livestreams with security by his side as a safety measure.
Ac7ionMan Apologizes To Fans After Alleged Swatting
Two law enforcement officials approached Ac7ionMan during a livestream and handcuffed him. They asked him to stay put and called for backup to question him. Ac7ionman told the officers:
“No man, it’s a troll call dude. I’m streaming in front of 5,000 people. I am live, there’s 5,000 thousand people. It’s a fake call, dude. It’s a fake call, sir.”
The officers checked his possessions and let him go. The streamer revealed that someone made the call claiming that he had firearms which led to the detainment. He addressed his audience saying:
“I get f*cking harassed whenever I leave my house! I am burnt out of this sh*t man.”
The streamer said he was burnt out from these incidents and asked his viewers to stop swatting him. He asked his audience to stop donating and that he hated his channel. After expressing his thoughts, he thanked his fans for their support before ending the stream.
The Kick Streamer Has Allegedly Experienced Over 50 Swattings
Ac7ionMan has been suffering from swatting incidents for months. In August 2024, he claimed that there was an organization behind the hoax calls. He said on stream:
“Off stream, I’ll try to (catch them), but every time I do they never get caught and I’ve been trying to catch these guys. I know exactly their organization name and I’m willing to co-operate.”
On August 23, 2024, Texas’ Lakeway Police Department knocked on his door after a hoax call. They inspected his home and talked to him about the call. He explained that he frequently suffers from swatting incidents and wanted to cooperate with the officers.
After the police left the premises, he revealed that this marked his 50th swatting incident. Over the years, swatters have repeatedly targeted the streamer, leading to multiple confrontations at gunpoint by police. In one incident in October 2024, swatters accused Ac7ionMan of drug ownership, resulting in his arrest. However, he later stated that the police dropped all charges and released him.
