An undo button can be very useful not just in House Flipper 2, but in any game. You can use this feature in House Flipper 2, but not always.
Ever messed up in a video game and wished you could just snap your fingers and fix your mistake? Usually, this involves loading back an older save file. However, this option is not available in all games. Especially when you can’t create different save files. Luckily, House Flipper 2 has an option to correct your mistakes. However, this does not extend to all the modes.

Undo Button in House Flipper 2
Although the game does have a dedicated undo button, this is not usable in every mode. Glancing at your keybinds will reveal the dedicated button for the undo button. By default, this is the Z button. However, you can remap this to whatever key you want.
Even if you press the button while playing the game, you might notice that nothing happens. This is because this button only works in a specific game mode. House Flipper 2 has two game modes: Story and Sandbox.
Out of these, the undo button only functions as intended in the Sandbox mode. If you mess up something while you are in this mode, don’t hesitate to rewind and fix your mistake with the press of a button.

Can You Use the Undo Button in Story Mode Of House Flipper 2
Unfortunately, this feature hasn’t been added to the game. If you accidentally delete an item or remove your roof, then a simple press of a button won’t fix it.
This is likely meant to be intentional, as story mode is more strict in its approach, whereas sandbox lets you be freer. However, this could change with future updates. People have been asking for the undo button to work in story mode for some time now.
