Will Delta Force be released on Xbox and PlayStation? If yes, then what release window should we expect on consoles?
Delta Force’s upcoming game, Delta Force Hawk Ops hasn’t been released yet. Unexpectedly, the latest extraction shooter from Team Jade will be free-to-play. While the developers haven’t spoken much about live service, it is expected from the model that they are adopting.
We would still have to wait for the release and see how the game turns out. So, how long until we find out the real deal? Well, the game is planned to be released on Xbox, PlayStation, Android, and PC. With the PC release just around the corner, there is still no update regarding the console release.
If you are a console user, don’t worry, you are not missing out on much. The PC release is not a ‘full release’, but rather early access for Global Beta testing. The team behind the new Delta Force is doing this to make sure they don’t serve a half-cooked game to the masses.
It may be a bit upsetting that the consoles are not getting this Early Access, but it could also just be a matter of time. And even if the developers only release the full version of Delta Force to Xbox and PlayStation, users wouldn’t have to wait to wait long. This is because the full release is planned for Q1 of 2025.
Will Delta Force Release on Xbox One and PS4?
All video game development studios seem to be moving past the last generation of consoles now because it has been around four years since the release of the new ones. It wouldn’t come as a shock to see Hawk Ops also releasing only on the new generation of consoles.
However, old console owners are in luck. The list of supported platforms for Delta Force doesn’t stop at the new generation of consoles. In fact, Hawk Ops will come to Xbox One and PS4.
The release window, however, will remain the same here. So, there may not be Early Access for both of these consoles either. Instead, players will have to wait until the first quarter of 2025 for further updates.
