Monster Hunter Wilds, the highly anticipated title from Capcom’s flagship franchise, is set to launch in a few weeks. Following the first open beta in November, the developers planned the second beta in response to player requests. They split it into two phases.
Part 1 of the second open beta (OBT 2) recently concluded, and now it’s time to look forward to Part 2 of OBT 2. Find out the starting and ending date of the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta second phase.
Monster Hunter Wilds Second Open Beta Test Part 2 Start Time
OBT 2 Part 2 of Monster Hunter Wilds will start on February 13, 7 pm (PT). While the Monster Hunter Wilds second open beta includes everything from the first OBT, it also introduces several new pieces of content, including the Flagship monster Arkveld and the returning monster Gypceros. Players can get optional quests for slaying Arkveld and Gypceros, with the former being a highly difficult challenge.

When Does Monster Hunter Wilds Beta End?
Part 1 of #MHWilds OBT2 has now concluded, but fear not, Part 2 goes live on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S on Feb. 13, 7pm PT / Feb. 14, 3am GMT.

OBT 2 Part 2 of Monster Hunter Wilds will run for three days, similar to the OBT 2 Part 1, and will end on February 16, 2025, at 6:59 pm (PT). Players who participate in the OBT 2 will also receive a bonus on the Monster Hunter Wilds full launch on February 28, 2025, which includes the Stuffed Felyne Teddy Pendant and the OBT2 Bonus Item Pack.
While you can carry over the character created from the open beta to the full launch, you won’t be able to retain the game progress. Additionally, Monster Hunter Wilds has announced an additional 24 hours of OBT 2 to compensate for the recent 20-hour-long PSN outage. However, the date has not been announced at the time of writing.
