How To Get Ghostfish in Stardew Valley
There are two primary ways to acquire Ghostfish in this game. The first of these is to engage in fishing. However, it is not so straightforward. There are some requirements you must meet to obtain these fish.
- Location: Underground Lake in the Mining Cave (Level 20 or 60)
- Fishing Level: 3
- Bait: Any
Using a higher-quality fishing pole is recommended for catching this fish.
Alternative Method For Obtaining Ghostfish in Stardew Valley
Although for most fish, you have to perform fishing, that is not the case with this particular one. Ghostfish has a chance of dropping if you kill Ghosts in the dungeon. These Ghosts are found on floors 51–79 of the Mines.
Therefore, you do not need to rely only on fishing in this case. Moreover, if you have already killed lots of Ghosts, then chances are you have a decent amount of Ghostfish already.

Where To Use Ghostfish in Stardew Valley?
There are a number of things that require a Ghostfish. Some of these include:
- Specialty Fishing Bundle
- Maki Roll
- Sashimi
- Quality Fertilizer
- Placed in the Fish Pond
You can also put this item in a sewing machine to get a dyeable Fish Shirt.
