Popular YouTuber MrBeast, who has around 151 million subscribers, has purchased numerous mansions in Greenville, North Carolina, for himself, his family, and his employees. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is also recognized for his charity work. Moreover, Donaldson spent approximately $320,000 in 2018 for a four-bedroom property in the same neighborhood.
There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms in the two-story house. Additionally, MrBeast paid $263,000 for a second property in the same neighborhood in 2020 and gradually started purchasing the remaining residences in the area for his family and staff.
Forbes reported that Jimmy Donaldson made $54 million in 2021, the highest amount of money any YouTuber has earned in history. Moreover, Elon Musk is following him on Twitter. Additionally, Jimmy Donaldson stated in a 2020 tweet that he aspires to be “Elon one day.”
MrBeast Spent 100 Hours Inside the Great Pyramids
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities granted MrBeast an unrestricted three-day filming and exploring permit, allowing him to spend 100 hours inside the Great Pyramids of Egypt for his most recent video. MrBeast, who usually rents out spots for expensive fees, squeezed into the tight tunnels that thread through this ancient wonder of the world.
In collaboration with the Ministry, MrBeast was given the incredibly rare chance to explore the interior paths of the pyramids in Egypt, turning the video into the most popular video on YouTube, with 78 million views and counting, in its first two days. The Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Hawass, who joined Donaldson, provided an in-depth historical analysis of the pyramids’ construction and numerous mysteries.
Donaldson squeezed through hidden passageways, went into rooms with hieroglyphics and sarcophagi, and even dove into a hole filled with water that was said to be the underworld’s entrance. Dr. Hawass and MrBeast himself can be seen teaching history throughout the video.
